Nature Preserved - a Special Place to Enjoy and Share

Robert (Bob) Jeffers owned some very attractive land in Prior Lake. An important element of this land is a hilly, wooded portion which also contains a small, deep lake or pond. Before his death Bob made it known that it was his wish that as the land would be developed this beautiful, natural area be preserved for the public enjoyment of nature and educational purposes. Indeed the Jeffers Pond Elementary school is just adjacent.

Bob's long-time friend, legal advisor and associate in the development of his property, Paul W. Oberg, has seen to Bob's wish by establishing a conservation easement on that portion of the property which Bob wanted protected. It is therefore preserved for posterity for the purposes Bob intended. Jeffers Pond welcomes you to it paths, shelters and vistas and its special secret places where you can enjoy nature and refresh and renew.
